At Care for Education, we’re trying to ensure that our training programmes don’t just make a splash but also make a lasting difference. Our approach to building sustainable programmes is rooted in community understanding, effective training, and ongoing support. Here are some of the key principles we keep in mind when creating our initiatives to help ensure they stand the test of time.

1. Community-Driven Foundations

Sustainability starts with community engagement. We work closely with partners who understand the unique needs and resources in local communities. By involving community members from the outset, our training programmes remain relevant, culturally adaptable, and gain good local support.



2. Effective Training with LEGO® Manipulatives

Our training programmes, centred around learning through play using LEGO manipulatives, are designed to empower teachers with practical, hands-on tools that are both engaging and effective. By equipping teachers with these resources, we help them create interactive and meaningful learning experiences. This practical approach not only enhances teaching but also ensures that the programme can be sustained with minimal additional resources.


3. Support Beyond Training

Training is just the beginning. To ensure our programmes have a lasting impact, we provide ongoing support through regular mentorship, follow-up support visits, refresher seminars, workshops, and a constant stream of new ideas. This continued engagement helps teachers overcome challenges and fully implement the strategies and tools we provide.
