We have some winners in learning through play …
Today, Care for Education trained a lively group of 13 teachers in learning through play using Six Bricks as a tool. Teachers tested their memories and proprioceptive skills and laughed in good nature as they explored associations, patterning, and sequencing. They actively engaged in activities and discussed links to comprehension, language development, and mathematical competencies. Teachers also developed their cognitive flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills as they played games like BINGO and Sudoku.
After discussing innovative ways to scale activities for children, teachers left the training with creative ideas and resources needed to implement learning through play in their classrooms.
